Hi. I have a PowerAcoustiks 1000 watt amp, with tw Infinity 12's(1200wt) and I use a Pioneer reciever. Right immediately things sound ok, but I want that "perfect sound". Any suggestions on what settings I should use? Such as Treble, Mid, Bass, and EQ?
First part are you only chitchat about getting your bass to sound better or the unbroken audio portion? If you are just trying to make your music nouns better then get a component set or some aftermarket two or three-way speakers. If you want better bass net sure your amp is bridged as that will increase wattage to your speakers or try to turn the amp up. As for the EQ settings it is different for all head unit, but I have always found that Hip Hop is the best setting to use besides custom tuning.
Answers: idyllic sound? if i were you i'd check out Boston Acoustics. I'd carry there G5 woofer, and Z6 comps. then i'd check out McIntosh amps. dont forget appropriate wiring, and i'd probably throw in a Pioneer DEP-Q eq. consequently you'd probably get pretty close to "perfect" sound. granted its going to cost you. . . going on for $5k. give or take.
apt luck
