Im using 2 custom slot ported boxes stacked on top of eachother in my 03 Yukon, near 3 1000/1 JL Audio Amps, but i was told to use sealed boxes instead what will own a higher DB rating.
The ported gives nicer, cleaner bass, while the hermetic slaps around the bass, usually better for smaller subs.
Depending on how much power your subs have, the more power GENERALLY tends to move about for the ported boxes.
Sealed boxes are really great for smaller subs that are going into a smaller car or truck. Since you have plenty of room i would utter go with the slot ported boxes they are great and i have great success with them. My customers love them and so do i. See if you can find poly-fill to put contained by your boxes as well it helps gross them sound better and more clearly. The slot ported boxes will off you a better db next to those particular subs.

Ported boxes have greater output, beside less power applied. Power handling of the sub is reduced when put in ported boxes.
Sealed boxes enjoy better SQ (sound quality), with less output. They can button more power (the subs, in sealed boxes) because in that is better control over the sub, as well as overexcursion is reduced.
If the boxes were custom built FOR the subs, start out them alone. They will have greater output than sealed boxes.
The just thing I have to read out is, watch it with how much power you bequeath those subs. They are low-end subs and you are powering them with high-quality amps.
