would it be possible to put a 12" sub contained by there, and lead it into the eq. like the ripened sub was? would it burn out the eq? if so, what should i do so i could put that 12" sub within there?

Answers: That doesn't seem practicle.
You would obligation to contrust a new box to hold the 12" sub. Even by making a larger hole the box would not supply satisfactory air volume for a 12" woofer's wants. If I were you, i'd a short time ago buy a new system, business deal with it as is, or clear a custom box for a 12" woofer.
