Just as of late, my amp doesn't appear to be getting any power to it. It's a Kenwood class D mono, and it doesn't seem to be getting any power. I'm not sure if it could be a discouraging ground, problem with my power line, or the amp it's self. I can get the red restrained (Just slightly and going on and off) If i press the power wire right into the spot where on earth it's supposed to go (No ends can be present on the chain either). So is my amp screwed or is it something I can fix?
Answers: first off i would check your wires using a multimeter, find out if you are getting 12-14 volts on the power and if you are check from the power to the ground. if both are ok, check between the ground and the remote rope with the coup¨¦ turned on. if everything is ok there i would enjoy your amp checked at an audio shop.
if one of them isnt getting power trace it back until it does.
