I'm installing an aftermarket stereo on my saloon?

I have a 93 Chrysler LeBaron. The factory stereo is not one to my partiality so I'm putting in an aftermarket one.

I hold purchased the stereo, wiring harness, etc. and enjoy spliced and soldered the wires.

Now my question is can I SAFELY unplug my factory stereo and plug contained by my new aftermarket stereo, electrical wires, grounding, and antenna and adjectives without disconnecting the battery-operated?

How do I set the clock on...

Answers:    I prefer the seamless crimp caps to butt connectors or soldering. Here within Florida the heat tend to melt and unravel electrical video eventually and can cause problems contained by the future. Crimp cap use one crimp per connection (and is directly line to wire) as opposed to 2 connections per butt connector (which is lead to connector to wire), and most butt connectors have a seam, that if crimped incorrectly can slice the telecommunication or just be a bleak connection.
It's true you are supposed to disconnect the freestyle before you ever start taking things apart. That said, I own only done that on vehicle that have airbag lights/switches within the panels I am removing.

HELP!! NEED A HEAD UNIT WIRERING HARNESS!!...

you didnt own to solder it, use butt connectors if your worried about sparks and what not.
