I need direction on how to install new 120 watt speakers and I enjoy a firebird that uses a 4 prong speaker and the new ones are a 2 prong speaker, i requirement to know how to make the adapt over, also the old speakers are 80 watt. I hold attempted to install and got simply a faint nouns coming out of the new speakers. Any proposal?
Answers: even if your stock speakers are 4 prong there should still simply be 2 wires going to it a + and a - most of the time the - is a black wire the + can be purely about any color but alot of the time its red. adjectives you have to do is use the -(black wire) and hook it up to the - on the speaker(it should enunciate what ones the - and + on the speaker) and then freshly hook the other wire to the + of the speaker and it should work fine.
hope i help
