is there an ipod transmitter/docking station for acura cars that allows you to control the ipod through the onscreen navigation system instead of the ipod itself?
Answers: Depending on the year of your Acura, Acura sell an iPod adapter. My friend has a 2006 TSX and his come with that. However, he doesn't hold the navigation system, just the substructure radio, so I don't know if Acura actually have an interface built into it to control your iPod - if it does, it will only be present on really recent models (ie. 2006, '07, '08)
Keep in mind that your request have a lot more to do beside your navigation system than any adapter that you could add on to your motor as it is. You can buy a piece of hardware that will give you constrained control of your iPod through your stereo (usually by making the head part think that the iPod is a big disc with a million tracks) and you can find that sort of entity on eBay.
