I have a 4000w Lanzar amplifier explicitly about 1600w RMS for respectively channel. they are going to be hooked up to 2-12" Power acoustik MOFO's at 2 ohms. the utensils i bought came beside a 150A ANL fuse in the in-line holder and i be wondering if this is ok because the amp is so big and it is going to be pushing a lot of power even thought the fuse rating on the amp is singular 70A.
Answers: Alright first of all your amp is not 4000 watts, second of adjectives, yes your fuse will be big enough. If you said the amp fuse is 70 amps, after tell me how this add up: 70aX12v=840 watts?? So yes, your fuse will easily protect your amp, and no your amp is not 4000 watts.
yes its fine. a short time ago a little more money to replace if it does blow.
