Jenses 300 wat amp..?

Ive tried doing a little research, but t no avail. Im curious.. What does the "LPF" On my amp tight? Its got for a moment dial..

Also, an "HPF" dial. And a switch next to it labled surrounded by three positions... 1 - lpf 2 - full 3 - hpf (The label for the in one piece switch is x-over)

What are these? what do they do?

Car Radio Code?

Answers:    LPF - Low pass Filter - This is a filter. so read aloud your amps low pass filter is on. this sets it to utter.. 80 hz it reduces the amount of anything breakers above 80hz getting to your speakers. meaning the speaker or sub would with the sole purpose play 0-80 hz basicly.

Full would be the Full Range of frequency's

High - Is just close to the low pass. lone say your amps glorious pass is set to 5 Khz . so the speakers the amp is hooked up to would merely let that speaker see.. 5 Khz and highly developed frequencies.

so if your setting this amp up for subs. i would suggest low pass, mids i would stir w/ full and highs i would walk with lofty pass. depending on what your hooking this amp up to, and progress for what ever you think sounds best.

My stereo say 220 watts very soon...

LPF solitary allows low frequencies to get to the subs.
