the jl audio 500/1 or a jl audio 300/4v2 amp

Answers: i agree beside "bass masta" the 250/1 is a better matched amp for those subs. the subs are only 150RMS ea, for a total of 300Watts RMS total handling beside 2. so a 250 watt amp is perfect. next to a 500/1 you run a very glorious risk of blowing the subs. you could also run the lower end JL amp into a 2 ohm nouns and save some money, although the 250/1 is a nicer amp, most empire would not really hear a difference.
