can i add a jl audio W7 to a kicker zx 1500 giving 1500 rms (a) 2 ohmss if this can develop please tell what size , impedance and how lots W7 can i wire
Answers: powerfully yes you can but if your looking to get the most out of the system volume sagacious thaen that is a impossible match. the sub is a 3 ohm sub and contained by parrelel it will be a total of 1.5 ohms, too low for the kicker amp, if you go series after your looking at 6 ohms and the amp will only put out going on for 500 watts. JL has a amp i.e. 1000 watts a 1.5 ohms that is a great meeting, if the cost is to high look into MTX amazingly comparable to kicker they are underated as well, and it is stableto 1 ohm
here is the amp i receomend. at 1.5 ohm it would put out 1250 CEA certified watts. but potential even a bit more. and its about a hundred bucks smaller number than the kicker..

here is a sub that be compared by a independant magazine to be "comparable" to the W7 although they gave the W7 the nod for overall nouns quality they said this guy certainly hit lower. and they favored it over the W6 that was in actuality in duplicate price range. this is where on earth i would put my money.

well i would individually not want to put more than 1200 watts RMS into it. you ramp produces 1500... so thats a bit much, with that said you could tune the am down a bit and "hang on to you foot out of it" and you would be o.k. but if you pushed just a bit too far you could loose the sub... and although ED does own a great 5 year warenty they are not blind to abuse.
if you look at thier power chart here:
