not sure about getting a digital amp leader becase i dont want to go through adjectives the menus looking for the sound you want, but this one seem like it'd be pretty simple.
so my grill is...is there anyone who's played beside this amp head and can give an account me if it's more of a simple tube like amp team leader, or a complicated one with tons of menus to dance through
Well I don't own the Spider III HD75 amp head, but I do own a Spider II 112 amp. The functions on it are not that complicated. I don't know what you miserable by going through all the menus, but you will enjoy to tweak around a bit to find the sound you want. However, I'm not sure if the amp leader has this, but I do know my amp will squirrel away four presets. So once I played around with the knob and go "THAT'S IT! THAT'S THE SOUND!", I of late push down a button for three seconds and that nouns will be saved beside its volume.
So I guess I don't really know the direct answer to that, but if it should be easy plenty since it's a Line 6 Spider. Good luck!

Answers: Although I do not own one, I have played next to the Spider III's quite a bit. The item I like more or less the Spider III's is that they are easy to play. This unique model of head does not come beside artist/song presets I don't believe. But it does have some nice amp models.
Here's how I play the Spiders:
Plug contained by
Choose my amp model depending on what mood I'm in (Crunch, Insane...conceivably clean)
I dial in the EQ until I procure the tone I want
Then, because I love reverb, I add a moment or two (a lot) in in attendance
Maybe finish it off beside some nice delay.
You can accumulate your settings pretty easily (hold one of the ginger buttons and tap again to retrieve...or something like that)
And if you attain one of the footswitches (a must) then you can scroll trough your sounds pretty efficiently.
My advice...lately make sure that you grasp a decent speaker cabinet to run with this principal. The Line6 4x12 cab you can buy comes near basic Celestions I believe. Another opportunity would be a nice used, beat up (but contained by good sounding condition) Marshall minicab with Greenbacks contained by it.
These amps are great to play around with. They are seriously of fun.
