Looking for assist next to installing a 10 disc disc changer contained by my '98 Chevy Malibu.?

I have a 1998 Chevy Malibu. I of late got a 10 disc cd changer next to the FM module, since my radio is so old w/o changer controls and the RCA jacks are shot.

Anyway, the install seem easy except for when I requirement to attach the +12V TO IGNITION to my fuse box and the 12V PINK MEMORY WIRE to a fuse that provides continuous power. It says I can attach the 12V PINK to my battery's positive terminal but the cable is way to short. I could acquire another wire and extend it but explicitly just another entry that can go wrong.

I am wondering if I can connect any of these wires to the electrical system harness for my stereo. I can install car radios and I enjoy done an Amp and box or 2 but this, for some reason, is confusing me to extermination. Please help.

Thanks, CL10952.

Answers:    Ok. You can hook the line up to your radios wiring if you've installed a radio within it before and you know which chain is the constant 12v wire and the switched power chain and ground. Yes, you can tap into the harness. It's freshly as easy as you infer. I've installed hundreds or RF Modulated Changers.
