MECP and MPS vehicle audio certifications: are they worth it?

Car audio is one of my favorite hobbies, but I've never taken it too seriosly, just done some pretty deep sub and amp installations, dynamatt, a cap, and director units. But I love tryin out contemporary products and helpin my friends with they're systems. But presently I'm thinking about trying to take a job at a motor audio store working the sales floor. CEA have their Mobile Product Specialist, which is their certification for sale instead of the MECP for install. So I'm lookin for somea advice really on how to acquire a job doing that and if getting the MPS study guide and taking the examination would be worth it. If any of you work at a shop I'd love to hear what some general requirements and experience are needed to gain hired are.

Thanks

Answers:    The certificate is single worth it if you are commited to learn and do competence work.
