hi does anyone here knows ohms of this subwoofer mtx thundercast 1000 watts?
Answers: I believe they came surrounded by different ohm level series. A 4ohm model, 2 ohm model and 8 ohm model possibly. The best way to find this out give or take a few YOUR sub, is to hook up a multimeter to test its resistance. Most of the time, your sub is going to me a standard 4 ohm model, but you never know. If you dont have a multimeter, run to a shop, or bestbuy, and ask the installers to test it. It probably wont cost anything. Just tell them your looking to buy an amp from thier place, but you want to check this sub first to better agree on on what amp to buy.
