and i call for to know what amp i should get...i necessitate something cheap but also decent....i also stipulation a fuse and wiring...is in attendance a good brand or something that i should nick a look at?
btw i kno nothing in the region of subs or amps...and how much would it all cost?
Listen to Sparky He know best. You should get this AMP. Kicker mono Class D amp model # ZX300.1. It have 300rms (a) 2 ohms and 150rms (a) 4 ohms. I have this amp powering 2 Kicker Comps 12's SVC 150rms a peice (a) 2 ohm's and it works great. I love it and I couldn't be happier. I bought adjectives of my stuff from Circuit City. They have it on Dutch auction this week for 150 bucks for the amp and the subs are BOGO free (a) 99 bucks. The amp install kit be 80 bucks. And I made a customer enclosure for my subs I spendt 50bucks on adjectives the wood and other materials that I used. If your atleast somewhat decent beside your hands, I recommend building a box yourself. contact SPARKY and he can give a hand you with the design of your box and contruction. He help me alot with my saloon audio stuff. So there you step $100 for 2 Kicker 12's. $150 amp. $80 Amp Kit. to have circuit city install adjectives of this, it would be around $450 (thats assuming you have a radio near RCA's) If not the Line Out Converters are around 40 bucks or so. Answers: DO NOT take that amp. It's too much power for that sub.
You need an amp that 150 watts RMS (a) 4 ohm for one sub and a 300 watts RMS (a) 2 ohm amp for two subs.
