im looking at either a round or square kicker 12" sub, iv hear that square subs sound fruitless and im not sure at what ohm to get the speaker, i singular want a single sub in my sports car. please help me pick a sub

Square subs dont nouns bad....they of late dont have as honest of sound power as round subs do. Your best bet for sound level and SPL mixture is gonna be Kickers CompVX. It hits just as firm as the square subs, but sounds better. Also, the ohm load of your sub is established by the stability of your amp. I would recommend getting a ClassD amp (1 ohm stable). And then catch the 2 ohm DVC version of the sub. This would allow you to cart the best advantage of your amp and sub combination
