i got a kicker 750.1 amp and i am soon getting two 12" kicker L5's. Do you think that this would work fine or do you deduce that the subs might blow or the amp will fry? My friend has that set up in his motor but his box is ported but my box is sealed and has solitary 1 cubic foot of airspace per chamber...what do you think i should do to the amp so it would work out?
The amp will fry.immediately.especially if you are pushing them the way you should..haha..with the L5's, I don't recommend anything smaller than 1000watts. 1500watts if you're reaction frisky. LoL, but with that one, just hold an eye on it so you don't blow the subs...but the 1000watt would work just fine.
I also think the box should be changed. (I meditate you asked about the box and I answered that one too) I think ported sounds better...it drags the overpower out a little (which is what I like) And Kicker's website says you should own about 2-3 cubic ft of air space. (I be looking up to get a couple of 12" L7's.)
What is the impedance of the L5s. If you got the 4 ohm altered copy then you would either own to wire it up to a 4 ohm load which will have it in mind that you will be severly underpowering your amp. That is fine but you will not be getting the full potential out of your amp. You could also hook up one L5 to that amp and just make sure to set your gain right.
If you capture the 2 ohm version then you could flex it up to a 2 ohm load. That means that the two subs will split the 750w rms. They will still be underpowered contained by this case as well.
Good Luck!
supply more info, stability of amp i.e. 1ohm stable, 2 ohms, ect.
another variable is speaker impedence 2, 4, or 8. i'm sure theres a way to capture that setup to work very well. within so many ways to hook up amps and speakers that you really need to know what your doing

i just get 2 kicker 15's L7's for the price of the L5's
the subs will not blow the amp. make sure your amp has proper aeration.
from experience i have a sealed box for my kicker 15's and they bump rock-hard. i think that sub's in ported boxes. the subs enjoy to work hard to get the bass out. if that make any since to you. i think the 1 cubic foot is the bare min. you can hold for 12's
i mean i have 2.4 cubic foot for my 15's.
i think you'll be fine though. good luck man
