I want to build a common chamber ported box for two 10" subwoofers but the owners instruction book only specifies the port size for a box using lone one sub.
So I guess my question is... The single 10" call for a 3"x10" port so can I just multiply that by two and use those dimensions??(6"x20")
or is in attendance another way to total the correct port volume?
Thanks in credit
Answers: You can't just brand name the port twice a large. Each sub is calculated beside one port, so make a dual chambered pen. Each sub will have it's own port and chamber.

In my experience the best bass response comes from a closed box next to NO ports what so ever. The speakers resonate better at lower power levels. I've tried both and a ported box other seems to entail a bigger amp to get indistinguishable punch.
