Putting a computer surrounded by a sports car near a powerful nouns system?

I am putting a computer in my car to run a nouns system and i guess i could run movies from it as well however do I need anything special to protect the computer from pulsation so it doesn't break? What do you all suggest?

Which Amplifier to buy? Easy 10 points!?

Ahh, a carputer.

One idea is to enjoy a "non-hard drive" based computer that runs standalone Windows XP from a Bootable USB drive that runs the music player of your choice using plugins.

Your MP3's are stored on another USB drive that can be removed for editing.

This all ties into your nouns system (amp subs/speakers).

No hard drive means nil will crash (nearly). A touch screen display is really the only other peice of equipment needed that can be custom mounted contained by your dash.

Look up BartPE and Sherpya. These two guys found a way to run the full GUI of Windows XP on a USB drive (under 600 Mb).

A shuttle style computer is adjectives you need for the computer.

I currently use a bootable WinXP CD for "frozen to remove" spyware and virus' from peoples machines.

Subwoofer smell?

Hard drives are going to be the most suceptable to vibration and temperature impairment.

I'd recommend going with a panasonic toughbook computer.
