I had my amp installed in the region of 2 weeks ago and since then, my fuel pump fuse have been blowing. I don't know if that's why but it did not come up one single time before it be installed. I took it to a mechanic and he found that the fuel pump fuse was blown but he didn't find anything else mechancillay wrong near my car and nearby was nil wrong with my fuel system. The one and only thing he could regard as of it being be my amp being hooked up wrong. Does anyone know it its possible to enjoy an amp installed wrong and have it end in fuses to be blowing?
Answers: If you haven't had a problem next to the fuse for the fuel pump, then you definately enjoy an installation problem. Installing an amp wrong can blow different types of fuses depending on where it's grounded or powered. I would steal the car subsidise to where the amp be installed and tell them roughly speaking the problem. If they are a reputable company in your nouns then they will look at your problem and try to problem solve it for no charge. Since it be only installed by them 2 weeks ago.
If you have a friend or relative install it. I would still take it to your nearest reputable vehicle audio shop and have them try and fix the problem for you. The solitary thing is you'll be looking for to a minimum $30 charge.
I hope this help.
Make sure all your connections are biddable and check your ground, make sure it is attached to a polite ground spot so if it is touching paint sand it away to bare metal consequently reatach it.
