Im looking at Fi BTLs, RE XXXs, SoundStream XXXs, SI Mags, Treo SSXs or CSXs, SSA Icons, DD9500s or Zs, or any RD subs. I want something HUGE. Either 4 15s or 2-4 18s. I've never hear any of these subs but I'm hoping to pretty soon lol. I plan to attempt to put them in hermetic boxes but that will probably fail lol. PLEASE HELP! I love my subs indistinguishable as I love my women... BIG, Black and BEAUTIFUL!
Answers: i have 4 fully loaded 15" fi btl's. waiting on sundown amps. should hit so rugged. they are all really correct brands. better than the highly advertise kinds close to kicker or JL or mtx. you'd probably be happy beside any of them. if i had my pick, i'd pick the DD's hand down. they are spl MONSTERS! but very pricey. the btl's, xxx's, mags and treos are also vastly good. similar to i said, you most likely wont be disappointed at adjectives. especially with 4 15's or 18's lol

When you start getting into multiple subs you own to start thinking power requirements. Power for the entire audio system.
If your total system power is 1000 watts RMS or more, you will need to:
1. Upgrade the alternator to a dignified output alternator
2. Upgrade to a heavy duty philosophical cycle battery
3. Upgrade the "Big 3" - to be precise to replace the power wire between the battery-operated and alternator, the ground from the battery to the chassis and the ground strap from the engine/tranny to the chassis beside at least 1/0 AWG rope.
Failure to do this will result in you replacing them anyway as the alternator will eventually fall through.

A second battery is never a correct idea as it's an added strain on the alternator to charge two battery AND supply power for the car. The ONLY time a second freestyle is useful is if the audio system is to be used beside the car rotten.
A cap is one and only good so far as the audio system isn't trying to verbs too much from the electrical system. A cap doesn't provide more power, it's designed to 'stiffen' the voltage to the amp, zilch esle. If the current isn't there, a panama won't help.
