My head element supports a remote control but didnt come with one. I looked online at the specific one created for it, but it looks stupid. I get to thinking about how you can win a universal remote for your home to control your tv and stereo n such, and wondered if they engineer something similar for the car. A motor, universal remote, or at least possible an alternative remote for the one you have. If so where on earth? please try to avoid being ambiguous.

My Alpine remote works on my friends' Alpine HU (different model # than mine) -but, individual the volume and track selection buttons work.
