I want thinking of buying a Rockford amp p400 that supposed to push 400w x1 at 4ohm bridged at Best Buy Than I heard this amp be better suited for 6x9's. Its originally $299.99 on clearnance for $179. Is this a bad choice? PLus I required to buy a good single sub, but first the amp. The guy in that suggested an Insignia1000w that would push about 400w. What should I obtain?
Answers: this amp would be good for a sub at 400 watts rms when bridged. what someone may enjoy meant is since it is a 2 pipe amp it can run 2 speakers, in this grip it would be 2 6x9s. if you bridge it you can run a sub that is 400w rms. that would be greatly better than a insignia amp. rockford fostgate is going to make like mad better amps than insignia. good luck!!
