I'm trying to use a car sub and amp beside my surround sound system surrounded by the house, but the amp isn't turning on. We have a coup¨¦ battery and charger to run the power from, hooking the ground up to the house outlet, consequently hooking the remote wire up to the power. We enjoy power at the amp, so it's either the ground or the remote. What's up.

Also if you're not contained by a hurry to get it running afterwards look into buying a DC inverter. Autozone carries them for 40 bucks. It's alot better afterwards hooking it up to a battery.
