I have a new Pioneer system to be precise satellite ready in my truck. I put the Sirius tuner made for pioneer surrounded by last night and it isn’t working right. It will play the weather station on 184 for around a minute then it starts acquiring signal and lately keeps acquiring signal. 184 is the “preview” furrow that works if the tuner is activated or not. This is the 4th Sirius system I have installed and never have this problem before. I was on the phone beside the Sirius guy trying to activate it and it just wouldn’t work.
I enjoy an old plug and play INV Sirius player that I quickly hooked up to see if can find signal on it. It worked just fine, so I plug the INV antenna into the new tuner and still nought. I plugged the new antenna into my old INV and it worked fine, so I’m pretty sure the problem is near the new tuner.
If I leave everything bad for a few minutes it will go back to working for something like a minute and then starts acquiring signal again. This is anew tuner from Bestbuy,
If everything else works as you say, the reciever is the solely thing left to swap, yes return the tuner, sometimes a latest tuner is bad, Ive seen it also
Good Luck
1 or 2 terminal sirius tunner ?
if you own 2 terminals you need the connector contained by this picture the one on the right side NOT the antenna use what you have

I would say bring the tuner back to best buy. I work at a motor audio shop and I've seen a few tuners bad right out of the box. More times then not, its the antenna, but since you have more afterwards 1 sirius set up... you did swap out the antenna to make sure it wasn't something simple... right? Anyways, if it's not the antenna, then it's the tuner box. Bring it put a bet on.

Answers: the tuner is bleak. when it says aquiring signal it can be two different things, either the tuner itself or the antenna. if you tried a different antenna that works near another sat radio but not with the tuner for your pioneer you've found your answer. embezzle it back and get a alien one and the problem will be fixed
