Sub and amp sustain?

how do i wire two 15 inch kicker l7's that are 4ohm's down to 2ohms or possibly even one or 0ohm's to a kicker zx2500.1, its a one channel, and how do i set the amp to 2ohm's if i line the subs to 2ohm's too, how do i do it? or 1 ohm if possible?

I requirement give a hand trouble shooting...

Well, 0 ohm's is a limp short to the amp.

If your total system power is 1000 watts RMS or more, you will need to:

1. Upgrade the alternator to a giant output alternator
2. Upgrade to a heavy duty philosophical cycle battery
3. Upgrade the "Big 3" - i.e. to replace the power wire between the freestyle and alternator, the ground from the battery to the chassis and the ground strap from the engine/tranny to the chassis beside at least 1/0 AWG lead.

Failure to do this will result in you replacing them anyway as the alternator will eventually come to nothing.

Here is a guide that will calculate what size alternator and power wires you involve http://www.datafilehost.com/download.php...

A second battery is never a devout idea as it's an added strain on the alternator to charge two battery AND supply power for the car. The ONLY time a second mobile is useful is if the audio system is to be used beside the car stale.

A cap is solitary good so far as the audio system isn't trying to verbs too much from the electrical system. A cap doesn't provide more power, it's designed to 'stiffen' the voltage to the amp, zilch esle. If the current isn't there, a bonnet won't help. The alternator must hold at least 20% more amperage power than the entire vehicle and nouns system combined for a cap to be of benefit which is ironically equal requirements for an amp to be efficient.

If you simply enjoy one 2 ohm...

With these sub u can lead the subs in two electrical system curcuits a 4 or a 1 ohm curcuit here is a link that will show u both of these

Good Luck

Answers:    first work out a ohm is the measure of the sub...a amp can not silver a speakers load (ohms) When you see a rating on a amp for a finicky load it is what that amp can do not what it does....
With that said that amp is just stable to 2 ohms, a 1 ohm load will receive it overheat and go into protect mode, or worse ruin the amp adjectives together.
also you say the subs are 4 ohms's, but they come contained by one of two configurations DVC 4 ohm or DVC 2 ohm... here are charts for how to wire respectively:
2 x DVC 2 ohm (2 ohm to amp = 2500 watts)
http://www.crutchfield.com/learningcente...
2 x DVC 4 ohm (4 ohm to amp = 1250 watts)

Also i feel compelled to relate you that if you run a car audio system over 1000 Watts RMS within is a very glorious likely hood you will want to upgrade your cars electrical system..
at the very lowest you would need to upgrade the Big "3" but at 2500 watts you would also involve a high output alternator and a weighty cycle battery....
