Tri Way amplifier?

For my dad's christmas gift I want to put a mild system surrounded by his car. He have a decent headunit but the speakers requirement to be replaced and he needs a sub.

It's a 85 mustang gt convertible so trunk space is at a premium. I be thinking 1 10'' sub, used rf jl or alpine. And I wanted to hook it up beside 2 mid ranges to a 2 channel amp specifically tri mode capable.

How much power will this dispatch to the speakers vs the sub?

Is this worth it? Should I just return with a 4 channel and bridge 2 of them?

Would you recommend ported or hermetic box...

Answers:    as a rule its a 1/4 to each speaker and 1/2 to the sub
unless your prehistoric man wants to "boom" i would only get a clad 50x4 head component and a cheap single channel amp and a 10" nearby is no need to power mid scale speakers with an amp, use the director units built contained by amp to do that,
4 speakers and a sub is more than enough

Which nouns system should I find?

i would buy one mono amp for the sub and a four chann amp for the mids

kicker have a setup for mids it comes with crossover mid and tweeter surrounded by pairs

and they also have 6 by9s

and u can shift with a kicker 10 or even smaler sub

and turst me kicker might be expencive but they enjoy quality
