Trying to keep output UNDER 800 watts rms, otherwise i would jump with the JL 1000/1
The object i want to keep it underneath 800 watts rms is because i dont want to have to put surrounded by a new alternator within my ford explorer that only puts out 130.
I wasnt sure which amp because of the unnatural 3 Ohm voice coils, so please help me pick one that will push the JL tough, but doesnt take more than 800 watts from my alternator
If in attendance isnt any that everyone agrees on, ill a short time ago end up getting the JL 500/1
hopefully at some point i can upgrade my alternator and carry the amp i really want to push this thing
Answers: With a 130 ampere alternator, you can push 1500 watts RMS unforced. So you have zilch to worry almost.
A second battery is never a devout idea as it's an added strain on the alternator to charge two battery AND supply power for the car. The ONLY time a second mobile is useful is if the audio system is to be used near the car past its sell-by date.
get a hifonics brutus bxi1206d.....it will meeting beautifully next to this subwoofer. Google it and check out the specs.
