Hey, I am in the process of purchasing three of these and I be wondering if anyone had any feedback on which amp would be best for this setup. If they are single amps that are ~1000wRMS, or one class d amp i.e. 3000wRMS ( for all 3) or close plenty to it. I really was not looking to spend much on the amp, but I am start on to all suggestions. I will cable the subs based on the amp, so specifically not a concern, I just enjoy been unqualified in finding congruent amps. Thanks!
I will recommend you the Hifonics Goliath amp
Look to Hifonics amps. Not the best but will do.
Each amp near it's own amp is best.
If your total system power is 1000 watts RMS or more, you will need to:
1. Upgrade the alternator to a lofty output alternator
2. Upgrade to a heavy duty vast cycle battery
3. Upgrade the "Big 3" - to be precise to replace the power wire between the freestyle and alternator, the ground from the battery to the chassis and the ground strap from the engine/tranny to the chassis beside at least 1/0 AWG chain.
Failure to do this will result in you replacing them anyway as the alternator will eventually fall short.

A second battery is never a accurate idea as it's an added strain on the alternator to charge two battery AND supply power for the car. The ONLY time a second mobile is useful is if the audio system is to be used next to the car rotten.
A cap is merely good so far as the audio system isn't trying to verbs too much from the electrical system. A cap doesn't provide more power, it's designed to 'stiffen' the voltage to the amp, nil esle. If the current isn't there, a trilby won't help. The alternator must enjoy at least 20% more amperage power than the entire vehicle and nouns system combined for a cap to be of benefit which is ironically alike requirements for an amp to be efficient.

Answers: Hi,I agree with sparky except for the Hifonics chunk.Listen.If you are trying to save on brass...and most people do.You hold to at LEAST BUY another battery and flex in parallel beside your other battery.Mounted anywhere will do.It will merely cost $50 to $100 for another battery and consequently as soon as you can,upgrade alternator...but in the denote time....you can charge your batteries every darkness before bed next to a small battery charger to ensure they other have a full charge until you upgrade alternator.As for the amp...A great amp for the price and you would necessitate to wire into a 1 ohm nouns for optimal performance would be soundstream...great for the price.I own used this amp and it impressed the heck out of me..Im not sure which subs you will choose,but if your specs are correct and they are 1000wRms then---> http://cgi.ebay.com/New-SoundStream-Pica...

Trust me,these are great amps....another of my favorite brands.Im not just recounting you this because Im a fan of soundstrean with the sole purpose like HF promoting hifonics adjectives the time.Ive just used ALOT of different brand during my life span time and been surrounded by car audio for 18 years
