I have a toyota corolla 99 ce 4dr and i own purchased a kicker zx06 1500.1 and i m running two alpine type r 2ohm total. i want to draw full power out of the car and i enjoy ordered kicker guage 0/1 wiring apparatus for it i was wondering if i entail a capacitor? or what other things i can do to make sure i achieve most power out of my stock electrical system (i think my alternator is 60amps or so :S not sure)
I would look in to a exotic alternator and I would also upgrade the big 3 not to hard to do yourself. I would take at least a 100 amp alternator or more. A sou`wester would be a good hypothesis 2 farad would work great here is a link to explain the big 3 if needed

Other than that get sure anp has a well brought-up ground and positive connection. With an amp that size the big 3 is a unbelievably good hypothesis aswell as the cap I would definentaly find a bigger alternator and possibly a better mobile for best performance. do if for about 2 weeks or so, and engender adjustments from in that.
if i had your vehicle i would replace the mobile with a elevated cold cranking amp.
instead of me getting a capacitor, i got a modern battery next to a high output and cold cranking amp( cca )
if that amp be a 1 ohm stable and your were running the you bought the subs at 1 ohm consequently i would tell you to verbs.
1 ohm draws alot of current.
my personal experience, i used jbl power amps,
they run at 4 ohms and dont kill the electrical.
walmart usually have the car battery cheap.
Answers: A trilby is only apt so far as the audio system isn't trying to pull too much from the electrical system. A sou`wester doesn't provide more power, it's designed to 'stiffen' the voltage to the amp, nothing esle. If the current isn't near, a cap won't support. The alternator must have at most minuscule 20% more amperage power than the entire vehicle and sound system combined for a sou`wester to be of benefit which is ironically the same requirements for an amp to be modernized.
If your total system power is 1000 watts RMS or more, you will need to:
1. Upgrade the alternator to a large output alternator
2. Upgrade to a heavy duty open cycle battery
3. Upgrade the "Big 3" - to be exact to replace the power wire between the mobile and alternator, the ground from the battery to the chassis and the ground strap from the engine/tranny to the chassis near at least 1/0 AWG chain.
Failure to do this will result in you replacing them anyway as the alternator will eventually fall short.
