Answers: As far as receiver/CD player I like Alpine. I own had one for a year presently with the iPod interface and its have worked flawlessly. I think I remunerated less than $200 for it which at the time be cheap for a cd player that would work with an ipod. I can't say aloud what is the BEST but for the price I think Alpine is thorny to beat. I hear a lot of well brought-up things about Kenwood, but I intuitively don't like them. They perceive cheap, are overpriced, and don't look as nice as my alpine. I have also have a few Sonys, they work ok for the first few months and then they stop reading CDs and spill out apart. Alpine is the way to be in motion.
