Answers:    Check the specs on your stereo amp. Match the output impedance. two 4 ohm speakers in series will be 8 ohms. Two 8 ohm speakers connected contained by parrallel will be 4 ohms. The manufacture has an output transformer to be precise rated at 4 or 8 ohms and the impedance should be matched to prevent failure to the final amplifiers or to the speakers.
