Answers:    The capacitors on the power supply side of your amplifiers do stabilize the voltage, current and filter out racket. If you don't have rumbling, generally alternator "whine", you don't necessitate them for that. However, the stabilization is another issue. High power amps require a lot of current specially for the bass. For example, a 1200 watt amp generally doesn't push the mid and illustrious range speakers next to that much power but can do so for the low range speaker, especially if the amp is within a sub woofer.

This drain is not long term but must be met nonetheless or distortion surrounded by the bass will occur.

That output power requires a comparable input. At that wattage, the current drain is 100 amps for a 12 volt source. Your alternator cannot supply that and your freestyle will be too slow. The capacitor, which is more of a current than a voltage device, can provide for that surge thus it keeps your amp from distorting.

You enjoy two amplifiers, but you don't say how big they are or how loud you play your system. If you do experience low frequency distortion, it is feasible that installing the capacitors will be beneficial.

Capacitors serve several functions in a vehicle. It seems that you are chitchat about the ones used to stabilize the voltage and filter out hubbub to the sound system. If you run the power lead to both amps off of one power organize that has the capacitor on it one is adequate.
But there are also capacitors within the speaker bridges, all of these stipulation to remain in place.
