Up until recently, I have be using a tape adapter to play my iPod but my cassette player doesn't work any more. I have tried an FM transmitter but I live within LA and there really aren't any consistent free frequencies.
Is my best bet to just purchase a replacement cassette player and use the adapter? If I am going to buy a unsullied unit, can I just bring one with an Aux port for the iPod or some other iPod connection?
Finally, if I did receive a new unit is it rational for me to install it myself?
there is an FM component at wall-mart that will let you tune your i.pod to a channel on any stereo, only just like a radio station
no tape grasp cd head unit that you can dock the ipod on it the ones you dock the ipod to i thank you own to but a adapter that hooks to the back of the cdplayer
and if you know how to hook them up then travel for it if you dont it would be better to let a pro do the job if you hook them up wrong thay stir bye bye in an instant

Answers: get an aftermarket headunit (radio) and also a ipod adapter. i suggest anything by pioneer. they are an exellent and trustworthy company. if you geta new herald unit, you will not only be capable of connect an ipod adapter, but the sound will be much better. i'm pretty sure that if not adjectives than most pioneer head units support the ipod adapter. merely go to either best buy or circuit city. they can probably attain you the stuff you need. that is if they own a car audio section. if you inevitability it installed then they can install it for you also
