2 subs each beside a .6 cubic foot box or 2 subs with a single 1.2 cubic foot box??the boxes are going to be hermetically sealed unless i put both of them in 1 1.2 cubic foot box they are 10 inch subs (kenwood kfcw2511)
Answers: *You can put a cheapo-crap sub contained by a box with an internal volume as recommended by the entrepreneur of that specific sub and it WILL outperform even a top of the line sub contained by a non-optimized enclosure.
You should ALYWAYS put respectively sub in their own crate.
Kenwood recommends;
hermetic box volume: 0.6-1.5 cu. ft.
ported box volume: 0.75-1.75 cu. ft.
With .6 cu. ft., you're barely making it. It'll work, but you should probably draw from one that'll give respectively sub about 1 cu. ft.
