Home theater sub contained by a truck?......

Answers:    You can put the cross overs at the speakers. Use the factory speaker wire as the input to the crossover after run the mid and tweeter out from the x-over to the speakers. Be sure to check the mounting point for the x-over so it doesnt interfere with the skylight rolling up and down. If you mount it inside the door cavity be sure to waterproof it. I across the world mount them between the door panel and the door.

Help Again?

you can run the cross-overs near the speakers, but you still hold to run the input line wager on to the amp on each one. as for butt connectors. hehehe, put one flex in crimp it, put grill shrink tubing over it, put the other wire within, crimp it, slide the heat shrink over the full thing and roast to perfection. (i would only recommend this if soldering is not an option)
