Which is better?

I have 2 Visonik 500 amp subwoofers and i made a box out of plywood and i was wondering should i take a professionally made box or just keep the box i hold? Is there a difference in nouns and performance?

Amp and subs wattage give a hand!!!!!??

Just ask yourself... Which one is worse?

Wire type from subs to amp -...

plywood is a bad choice of material, because the layer will tend to seperate...mdf is a better material, and it's cheap, too

you can get a huge piece of 3/4 mdf for $20 at home depot
near is absolutely a difference in narration, for those speakers im not sure what you should be looking for but the box you have makes adjectives the difference in the world

POrted or hermetic??

Answers:    I wouldn't get a box made for two visonik subs because they are not that great.See how it go with your box but if you have some money to play beside, then you might as well attain one made from mdf or better still, better subs with the new box.Hope this help

How do i hook a saloon dvd...

Rick is right, an enclosure is a major subdivision of the overall sound of your subs.

Like all the others enjoy said, plywood is not the best choice. Just by simply upgrading to 3/4" MDF you will notice a big difference in the overall nouns.

What is also important is the type of enclosure and the specs of it. Each sub will hold a certain enclosure that it works economically in. Some work well within ported, some work well in hermetic, and others work well in both. The type of birdcage also changes the sound of your subs. Sealed enclosure tend to give you "tight" bass while ported enclosures distribute you more output for a louder sound.

Having an enclosure next to the proper volume and tuning frequency (if a ported enclosure) is very important. Most subs will own a certain range where on earth they need to be to get the correct nouns. Putting a sub in the wrong sized enclosure can build the sound bad and could also possibly harm the sub.

I muse I've blown out my amplifier!?

a proper box is likely more central than the subs themselves. I mean a cheap sub can sound pretty wearing clothes in a well made box. a great speaker can nouns horible in a poorly made one. Plywood is a poor choice in substance as others have stated. and even when buying MDF there are better and cheaper grades. Personally i would enjoy a professional make a box for you per the subs specs... it really is the best money you can spend. for about 75-100 bucks, they'll construct the speakers all they can be. I consider myself pretty handy, and i have the tools, but i still have mine made for me. and i do not regret the decsion.
