Why does it do this?

Ill start out with the merchandise and work to the issues to avoid confusion. i have an Alpine CDA-9883 Deck beside Infinity Refrence Componets in the front and Pioneer 4-ways surrounded by the back beside a Sony 600W Xplod Amp. when i try to adjust my amp i cannot get it up more next a 1/4 power becasue any higher and my tweeters start to crackel and pop. what would mete out this? every thing is brand unusual.

How copious amps does it purloin to...

Answers:    I'd check make sure the rcas aren't plugged into your sub out and if it solely has front and a rear/sub out that your rear/sub out is elected for high slip away filter/hpf not low pass filter/lpf. Make sure the amp you hold is turned on the hpf setting and not lpf setting. Make sure your tweeters are connected to the tweeter part of your x-over not the woofer division. Make sure no speaker wires are touching each other. I worked on a sports car this guy spent $60 to have the radio installed and the guy who installed the radio wouldn't even move about look to see why he couldn't even turn his radio up past 5 of 50. I looked right away to the electric wiring harness and sure enough he cut wires that go to the wiring harness for the speakers and a couple of the tiny threads be touching each other cause it to sound similar to a really horribly scratched broken record. The guy that installed it be telling him his speakers be broken because the aftermarket jensen flip out screen be way more powerful than his stock component. I laughed when he told me it be a 2005 dodge durango! The speakers were fine and I save the guy another 150 on speakers he didn't need! Needless to right to be heard check all the speaker nouns or possible kinks that would engender the speakers touch. Good luck...if none of this helps they might be blown...

sure the tweets aren't blown? or the polarity is right? amp properly grounded?
If that's ok, ask some question at your local auto audio hook-up shop, maybe they can point contained by the right area
