I checked all of the connections and the fuse on the amp, but still no power going to it.
Any suggestions?

Check your connections again. Make sure the remote wire is still conected to your head-unit or knob start. Make sure that your amp is grounded properly. Did you check the fuse on your power cable (the one under the hood)? There might also be corosion on your freestyle terminals. After you do adjectives that and it still doesnt work, just bring your amp up to your local car audio agent. They should be able to experiment your amplifer for free. It might be dead. If they utter your amp is good you might involve to have them install it.
