I have
2 12" kicker compvr 2 ohm 800 total rms
http://cgi.ebay.com/2-NEW-2007-KICKER-CV...
and i hold an
mtx tc4001 mono 400 rms amp
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...
I have fairly a few questions.....
Will this afford me 1 ohm or 2 ohm or 4?
Can this amp handle that confidently?
Will it give 200 rms to respectively sub?
Would i be better off a short time ago sticking with 1 sub instead of 2 make happen its a mono amp?
Answers: until you get a bigger and better amp......(preferably one thats competent of putting out 700 to 800 watts rms (a) 2 ohms........that setup will be fine......Big sports nut took the words right out of my mouth....do what he said its your best bet with that setup
Yes but you stipulation a bigger amplifier. You will series wire respectively woofer to 4 ohms, then parallel the 2 subwoofers, giving you a 2 ohm mono nouns. To do the wiring portion, look at the 2 sets of speaker terminal. Connect the positive wire of terminal one to the glum wire of terminal 2 (on indistinguishable subwoofer) with a short single 1/2 of speaker flex. It does not matter which one. Then do impossible to tell apart thing for the second speaker. Next attatch speaker wires to the distrustful terminal of each speaker and tie them together. Do one and the same with the remaining 2 postive terminal of the speaker and run each to the respective positive and negaative terminal of the amplifier. Success! 2 Ohm mono load.
