I have to Alpine type E sudwoofers rms 250 in a hermetic box and the amp rms is 600 will it be loud because i want a loud system?
Many factors determine the volume a given system, including the helpfulness of the speakers used (db / spl) , the actual rms rating of the amplifier, the size of the speaker cable being used, the stability of the supply power provided to the amplifier, to name a few. First, if a high-ranking efficiency speaker is chosen, this will have the greatest effect on the volume mortal higher. Second, if you provide a heavy gage power cable to the amplifier, and use a huge capacitor mounted at/near the amp, the supply power will be more stable. In addition, a vented, or ported bass reflex box is more reorganized than a sealed box.
Answers: if your amp is truely 600 rms ok but they would be louder in a custom ported box made to the woofers specifications.
