ok i have a volfenhag zx-7180 2 channel amp. 2x500 (a) 2ohms rms. i want to connect my s15L5 kicker wired at 2 ohms to one warren and my mtx 5500 subs to the other. the kicker is a 4 ohms dvc. and the mtx subs are both 4 ohm svc wired down to 2 ohms. is it going to work?
the mtx subs should be connected to both the left and right channel, and the single kicker sub connected to both channels in bridged cult this should break the impedance to 3 ohms per channel, i did the same entity with an old Jensen amp a few years backbone and it worked fine and hit very hard hope this help
Answers: It will work but who knows how long the amp will last. The other problem is the reality that different size/make subs play at different frequencies so it will sound a bit wrong.I would rather stick near either the kicker or just the 5500's but it's your choice.Try it by adjectives means and if you are happy next to it,fair enough.Car audio is not around what makes other people contented,it's about YOU being lively.Hope this helps

1. The amp MUST claim to be 'tri-mode' or 'tri-way' capable.
2. Connect one SVC Mtx to respectively channel.
3. Wire the L5's coils wired in series (8ohms) to the bridged output.
The amp will 'see' 2ohms per passageway, for max power output.

parallel flex both of your svc mtx subwoofers to one channel. that will give you a 2 ohm nouns for channel 1.
then parallel chain both voice coils of your kicker to the other channel. that will give you a 2 ohm nouns there also.
so basically your mtx subs will be getting 250 watts a piece
and both voice coils of your kicker sub will be getting 250 watts a piece goal that woofer will be recieveing 500 watts.
ofcourse that is if your volfenhag amp really pushes 500 watts rms at 2 ohms. I had a friend beside a volfenhag amp and they arent as powerful as volfenhag says they are. but thats besie the point. this way should allow you to power adjectives 3 of your subwoofers safely.

How do i capture long-gone SAFE when...
you cant bridge a dvc 4 ohm subwoofer to a 2 channel amp. yo would get a nouns of 2 ohms and every amp I've ever heard of will only work at 4 ohms bridged. also if you bridge both channel together, then you wont be able to seperately use respectively channel for the other woofers while they are simultaneously bridged to run one woofer. If I were you this is what I would do.parallel flex both of your svc mtx subwoofers to one channel. that will give you a 2 ohm nouns for channel 1.
