I work at a car audio shop that sell rockford punch series subwoofers, and have found that the subwoofer cones give the impression of being to all crack. I thought that this be just from population being stupid, but it seem that everytime I replace a pair of demo subs, they become cracked again in a week or so. Getting fed up, I established to reverse mount one of the pairs. Within a few weeks I noticed the nouns seems to be giving, so I removed the subs to find that they be indeed cracked. Curious even more, I decided to mount adjectives three levels of the punch series subs (all 10s) contained by sealed enclusures , reversed mounted and have them on display for about two months, along side an secondary set of p3 10's in a ported box, also reverse mounted. After roughly 7 weeks I removed all the subs and found the p1 and p3 surrounded by the sealed to be cracked, the p2 untouched, and both pairs of the ported p3s to be fine. I have experienced similar results next to the 12's. Why is this? Has Anyone else been experiencing this?
