They call them " Xplod " for a very apt reason. When bench tested against 10 other popular brands, Sony amps were the first ones to walk boom!

The only defence people say Sony is carp is because they do not use the right organizer unit and speaker set. I have two Sony XPLOD 12" subs and a Sony XPLOD commander unit and the only problem i have with it is the fuse was blown out because some folks do not know how to hook up a set of booster cables. Since I put that stereo system in it have not failed me once but this is only my judgment.
Everyone has their own.
