thanks for answering...but I am having problems turning on the radio...No power, no lights, I own already turned key on in position (I) for 3 hrs dispense or take and nothing...tried the #7 fuse and in a minute I have an SRS airbag error...
Not sure what next to do to attain the radio to turn on to input code...
If anyone knows an answer that would be great...hope to hear from you...

Your Volvo dealer should know how to look up the radio code.
If the radio display says "code" it's ready to receive the code.
If the radio display say "off" it needs to sit longer with the ignition on. I hear of some that took 4-5 hours before resetting to "code".
If the display doesn't show anything you need to turn the radio on - or it's stopped.
Answers: There is no "code" for the S80 radio, unfortunately. The process you are doing works for the 850 - S70 series and the 2004> S40's. If you are have a radio issue with no lights, that's internal and the radio will have to be replaced. Also, you will entail to have the Airbag light reset at your local contractor with their computer. Good luck!
