I have a 02 Mitsubishi Montero Sport AWD and its idle at 2000-2500 and we dont know why, we have already cleaned the throttle body and checked for vacuum leak and dont know what could be the reason. Also the check engine pale is one but the idling seem to be the only problem. If anyone have any suggestions that would help.
Answers: Get it checked again they should check the (idle control adjustment)...might be the solitary problem.
Got to your local auto zone or advance auto they can scan it for trouble codes for free and make clear to you whats wrong. Or get your own OBD2 scanner.
