I have a 1980 Ford Mustang near a 3.3l straight six and was wondering what will be the best route to stir with do again of the car simply and motor.

Depends what you want to do with it. If you are going to install a V8 you hold to swap out the K member on that motor. The straight 6 K member won't work near a V8. Not really that hard to do. You can bascially put any generous of motor you want in that motor. You could always freshly rebuild the current motor, not sure what you want to do.
