1992 Chevy cavalier reverse rotors?

I know nothing about a car- basically how to drive it, lol. Recently took car to shop. they said my fron brakes are fine, but i mau need to capture rear rotors replaced. They told me it will cost between 100-150 dollars for the rotors, and 60 for the brake pads...is this correct? And if so, where on earth is the cheapest place to get the parts and/or labor done (BESIDES DOING IT MYSELF). I live in columbia, SC if that help! thanks!

Cavs have front disc and flipside drum brakes meaning that you would need front rotors and pad -or- rear drums and shoes. If you know nothing roughly speaking cars, get it done as that doesn't sound out of rank to me.

The price of the rotors sounds dignified to me. That should include labor. Tell them you want a written estimate and then call adjectives over with the information they used on their estimate. Most shops will beat other shops estimates only just to get the business.

Answers:    Always ask for a discount and start going to the same place for parts the discount get better each time you visit. The price sounds $35 dollars to big but thats what they want. Then you'll have to pay to install them$120 and bleeding them costs $190...thats a big impressive total. You could do it yourself for $150-170
