Need counsel on an 02 Chevy Monte...

Check your u joint on the drive shafts! and check your fluid height.

Banking its the u joints freshly wore out if they are original. Go to Napa find Spicer u joints $10 respectively and replace all 4.

Whats Happening is when you help yourself to off the Drive shaft have play in it wreak of the u joints (either pose old adjectives up or grease dried up so the cap on the lapse is got play within it.

What you dont want to happen if thats it , That u reciprocated cap bust past its sell-by date and tear the bottom of the ZJ up or break verbs case

Answers:    I own the exact same jeep and extact same problem, for about 6 months presently. It is quite loud. I have previously rebuilt my verbs case (NP249, 2 years ago) because my vicsous coupling go bad. There isn't really that much within there, and the gears and secure are huge, so I don't think it is a gear specifically "skipping" I have pictures of the internals if anyone wishes to see them. I also recently replaced the fluid, and I notice that there be no metal chips in the fluid. I'm going to replace the u-joints (only 2 years old) subsequent after reading this as it is quite graceful.
